Spending time when the weather isn't ideal and feeling the cold as my warmth warms it up and it melts away!

Mycobacterium vaccae has been studied and it can boost your immune system and help ward off depression. Mycobacterium vaccae can be found in dirt!

Eating the weeds is a risky thing to do. Get with an expert prior to trying to make any wild edibles.

looking in nature for items that you can see your reflection in. This birds reflection was amazing to me so i figured I'd share it with you!

Compare your foot print to a random animals foot print. to know that my foot print is as big as a birds is rather amazing to think about! and to feel the sand on my barefoot!

So many ways to thank a bee. You can say thank you. Or grow flowers for them to eat. I did both. and i watched them as they went from on cucumber flower to the acorn squash flowers. Awe Those bees are awesome!!!

Try a hand at balancing while walking on a fallen tree. some are small some are large. How long can you balance for. Time yourself HAVE FUN be a kid again!

Being near or on laptops phones and watching tv isn't that great for our eyes. it's healthy (even says on the manual) to take breaks from the screens. do this from a window or just stare off on to some horizon. What do you see there. is it water meeting the sky can you see the separation from the two?

okay so I had new water proof shoes and had to test them. what a great opportunity during a wet hike well my partner held my phone as i goofed out in a puddle! it was stupid fun! it helped me feel silly with out the negative undertones with it! it was fun! just try it!

got a green thumb? no well grow something anyway. learn about it see what it needs to thrive and try. i have a green thumb and some plants just don't make it. learn why and how it's a part of nature. by hands on!

eating lunch out side on a a picnic table has become the normal with pandemic around. However doing this on the regular helps me feel connected as i try to stay warm or wave away bugs. Every "picnic" has a special spot for me. Gather with friends and or family. or just eat a lone and feel connected. either way try it in different configurations.

sitting down in a forest or set of woods or anyplace with a cut or fallen tree or larger tree branch. and count the rings. the tree or branch is that many years old. now sit with that info for a while look at the tree where was it cut from what happened to it. visualize it's first few years . see the parallels in human life and other wildlife.

I had some sage and I wrapped it up into a stick. I also tossed in some lavender. allow it to dry (a few days) and you have your smudge stick. It was had left a nice smell on my hands from the oils of the plants. I never burnt this but making it was fun and relaxing.

Making a shadow to say i love you with my hand! Awe. I just like to see the different angles of the sunlight and my placement of the shadows. Making shadow puppets and soaking up the sun get that vitamin D.

okay so this is a stretch not everyone can do it. However staying at a cabin or visiting the woods far away from your normal area and chill for a while. notice the different noises different colors and plants and type of clouds even. So many things to notice. even if you can't stay at a cabin walk by one and visualize you staying there the point is to get away!

Using primitive ways. I mashed up some rice in efforts to break in my new Mortar and Pestle. Not needed to be done and slightly like a chore. However it helped me get in touch with ancient ways. thinking about random rocks that primitive cultures had to use and how we modern people revised them to meet our needs more quickly!

i got low to the forest ground in hopes to see something cool. And to my surprise there was some moss on a fallen tree. this moss wasnt only cool looking it had little water droplets that i failed to see at first it wasn't until i wiped my hand on some did i notice the wetness. it felt so sweet and special. the little moss flowers were like tiny messages for skin cells. i normally step on this stuff when i'm hiking it's the green side of the tree.

This fly was on my backpack when i breaking on a backpacking trip. it was annoying me and flying all around my face. it landed i didn't want to have it move so i slowly approached it with the camera got a photo and watched it move it's front legs up together. as his little mouth piece got bigger and smaller as it sucked on something on the outer shell of my backpack.

You can use anything to make a bouquet. make one for every season. i think it's fun to find the weeds and plant life and sticks to make something unique and special to bring in or leave outside whatever you feel comfy with!
